This is the first book review I have ever written, but felt compelled to share my opinion. “Duty and Honor” written by Grant Blackwood was so filled with trite cliches and predictable outcomes, I was tempted to simply not read it to completion. I loved "Duty and Honor" but it was a little different from the Jack Ryan Jr. novels I've read in the past. It is Duty and Honor book story with a single narrative rather than several narratives intertwined like most Tom Clancy novels work. The ending was good but expected as the pages flew by.
